What it is
Pawprints is a small labor of love — a gentle app for telling the stories of animals you’ve helped. Add photos, drop a pin on the map where the work happened, note who you helped and what you did, and each rescue becomes a story worth keeping instead of a folder of forgotten photos.
Why I built it
Animal welfare runs through everything I care about — it’s one of the causes I put my own money and time behind, from spay/neuter work to the years I spent co-founding an e-commerce brand that funded stray-dog rescue. Pawprints turns scattered rescue photos into a living record of the good that got done.
What’s in it
- Photo-first story cards — one for each animal, so the picture leads.
- A map of where the work happens — the pins add up to a picture of the effort.
- Simple, human prompts — who did you help, what did you do, and a little context.
It’s an evolving passion project, not a commercial product — but it’s live, and it’s the kind of thing I most love building: small, warm software that helps people do good.
